I'm a UI/UX designer based in Sydney, Australia and Singapore. I graduated with a diploma in Business Information Technology from Singapore Polytechnic and Bachelor of Design Computing from the University of Sydney.
I have a passion for creating engaging and intuitive user experiences, with a goal to create designs that not only look great but also solve real problems and meet the needs of the user.
I developed my passion for UI/UX design while I was in my final year pursuing my diploma when I was taking a module on Infographics where I had to do primary research using tools such as surveys and user interviews.
One of the things I love most about UI/UX is creating products that matter and seeing their progress, being able to talk to people, empathising with users and seeing their needs. I also love discovering the technologies people use for their needs/wants and how technology has made people's lives more convenient.
In my portfolio, you will find examples of my work that showcase my skills in UI/UX design, including mobile app design, website design, and branding projects. I am currently undertaking the UX Designer course by Google. I am always seeking to improve my skills and stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and I am excited to continue growing as a designer.
Thank you for taking the time to explore my portfolio, and I hope that my work speaks to you and inspires you as much as it has inspired me. If you have any questions or if you would like to work together on a project, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
When I’m not working on building digital apps I spend time watching sports such as F1. I love to explore museums and art exhibitions, I find that pursuing these interests helps me stay creative and inspired in my work.
I also keep up with the new consumer technologies such as computer, its parts, mobile phones and day to day technologies as I love to discover the new features that these companies bring. As a part of my hobby, I am now comfortable with building computers and have built 5 computers for my friends and I.
I am also a movie avid and Star Wars is one of my favourite movies. In my free time, I tend to play around with Neopixel boards this led me to learn the basics of Python where I am able to add gesture controls, sound controls and effects to my lightsaber.
Lastly, I enjoy working out and have been doing powerlifting for close to 5 years and competed in Powerlifting Australia meets. I believe all these hobbies help me step back from designing while gaining a better perspective by applying all of the different skills I learnt from these hobbies.
